SHIPPING, RETURNS & WARRANTY POLICY

This Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through www.axismakes.com (“Website”) operated by:

  • Canada Operations: AXIS Makes (a division of AXIS Inspection Group Ltd., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Manitoba)
  • United States Operations: AXIS Makes (a division of AXIS Inspection Group Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Wyoming)

(collectively referred to as “AXIS Makes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

 

2.1 Processing Time

  • Standard processing time: 1-3 business days
  • Custom or special order items: 5-10 business days
  • Processing times exclude weekends and statutory holidays

2.2 Shipping Methods and Times

Canada:

  • Standard Shipping (Canada Post): 3-7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (Canada Post Xpresspost): 1-2 business days
  • Overnight Shipping (Canada Post Priority): Next business day

United States:

  • Standard Shipping (USPS/UPS Ground): 3-7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (UPS 3-Day Select): 3 business days
  • Express Shipping (UPS 2nd Day Air): 2 business days
  • Overnight Shipping (UPS Next Day Air): Next business day

2.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination address
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Selected shipping method
  • Order value (free shipping may apply to orders over specified thresholds)

2.4 International Shipping

  • Available to select international destinations
  • Customer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees
  • Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing
  • AXIS Makes is not responsible for packages held by customs authorities

2.5 Delivery and Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping address
  • Signature confirmation may be required for high-value orders
  • AXIS Makes is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery

 

3.1 Return Period

  • Standard items: 30 days from delivery date
  • Defective items: 90 days from delivery date
  • Custom or special order items: Non-returnable unless defective

3.2 Return Conditions

Items must be:

  • In original, unused condition
  • In original packaging with all accessories and documentation
  • Free from damage not related to manufacturing defects
  • Accompanied by original receipt or order confirmation

3.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Items that have been used in industrial applications
  • Consumable items (welding rods, chemicals, etc.)
  • Digital products or software
  • Items damaged by misuse or normal wear

3.4 Return Process

  • Contact customer service at returns@axismakes.com within the applicable return period
  • Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  • Package items securely with RMA number clearly visible
  • Ship to the address provided in the RMA confirmation

3.5 Return Shipping

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • AXIS Makes is not responsible for items lost during return shipment

3.6 Refund Processing

  • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days of receiving returned items
  • Refunds issued to original payment method
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless return is due to our error
  • Restocking fees may apply: 15% for special order items

 

4.1 Exchange Eligibility

  • Available for defective items or incorrect items shipped
  • Size or specification changes subject to availability and price differences
  • Must be initiated within 30 days of delivery

4.2 Exchange Process

  • Follow the return process outlined in Section 3.4
  • Specify the desired replacement item in RMA request
  • Additional charges apply if the replacement item costs more than the original

 

5.1 Manufacturer Warranties

  • Products sold carry manufacturer warranties where applicable
  • Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product
  • Warranty information provided with product documentation
  • Claims must be made in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty terms

5.2 AXIS Makes Limited Warranty

For products without manufacturer warranty, AXIS Makes provides:

  • 90-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship
  • Warranty covers replacement or repair at our discretion
  • Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, or normal wear

5.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation or use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, modifications, or repairs by unauthorized parties
  • Consequential or incidental damages

5.4 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim:

  • Contact customer service at warranty@axismakes.com
  • Provide proof of purchase and description of defect
  • Follow instructions for return or inspection as directed

 

6.1 Inspection Upon Delivery

  • Inspect packages immediately upon delivery
  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt
  • Report damaged or incorrect shipments within 48 hours of delivery

6.2 Damage Claims

  • Contact customer service immediately at support@axismakes.com
  • Provide photos of damaged items and packaging
  • Do not discard damaged items until claim is resolved
  • AXIS Makes will arrange replacement or repair at no charge

AXIS Makes reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

 

  • Canadian orders: Governed by the laws of Manitoba and federal laws of Canada
  • United States orders: Governed by the laws of Wyoming and applicable federal laws

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AXIS Makes’ total liability for any claim related to products or services shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
